BPD: 5-year-old Damian Ruiz found unharmed in Weiser Idaho

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — (UPDATE June 23, 3:50 p.m.) The Bakersfield Police Department said missing 5-year-old Damian Ruiz was found unharmed in Weiser Idaho by the Weiser Police Department.


The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in locating missing 5-year-old Damian Ruiz last seen at a residence in the 6000 block of Chicory Drive around June 1.

Damian Ruiz is believed to be in the company of Patricia Crocker, who was the girlfriend of his legal guardian, that is now in the custody of law enforcement.

Damien Ruiz has been living with Crocker for several years and is not believed to be in any immediate danger.

However, his other legal guardian is now seeking to know his whereabouts and it is believed that Crocker and the child’s father are trying to conceal him.

Patricia Crocker is described as a: White woman, 41 years, 5’3”, 130 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes and an unknown clothing description.

Damian Ruiz is described as a: Hispanic Juvenile, 5 years old, 3’0”, 100 pounds, long brown hair, brown eyes and an unknown clothing description.
