BPD arrest naked man for vandalism of various businesses

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — On Wednesday, Bakersfield Police Department officers responded to reports of vandalism on East Brundage Lane. When officers arrived, they found a nude man breaking business windows with a hammer.

Officers were able to gain voluntary compliance and the subject was taken into custody. The suspect was placed under arrest for felony vandalism and transported to an area hospital for treatment due to a self-inflicted wound and agitated/erratic behavior.

Multiple businesses in the area were damaged by the suspect.
