Bakersfield Police officials said they arrested two people for firearm and gang related charges on Tuesday night.

Officials said at around 7:00pm, they conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of N Street.

During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers located a loaded firearm which was determined to be stolen. The occupants, Tyrone Mitchell, 18, and Augustus Crawford, 18 were arrested for firearm, stolen property, and gang related charges
