BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield police are once again reminding people to lock their cars after a series of garage break-ins.

Cops said around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning they responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a home on Marby Grange Way.

BPD said three suspects were gaining access to multiple home garages by using garage door openers left in unlocked vehicles.

The suspects were in possession of loss from at least four different burglaries that happened overnight, according to officials.

All three suspects were arrested for burglary, theft and possession of stolen property. They were booked into the Kern County Jail and Juvenile Hall.
