BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Two people have been arrested during a DUI checkpoint in Southwest Bakersfield for suspicion of being under the influence and another was arrested for a warrant.
According to police, 828 drivers were screened and two drivers were arrested for DUI at the checkpoint on Ming Avenue near South H Street.
27 additional drivers were cited for license violations and one person was arrested for felony warrants.
