Bakersfield Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man suspected in a sexual assault.
The assault happened in northeast Bakersfield.
According to BPD, the suspect picked up the victim Saturday, August 11 around 3:30 p.m. on Union Avenue, then drove them to Eagle Ridge St. near Thorner Elementary, where the assault occurred.
The suspect is believed to be a black male between 35 and 40-years-old, between 5 ft. 6 and 5 ft. 9, heavy built with facial hair.
He also has a possible tattoo on his chest or stomach and a scratch or scar on his nose.
He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black basketball shorts. He was also seen driving a dark, four-door sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Impala.
