BPD asking for public's help locating stolen car

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a stolen vehicle and the person behind the theft.

According to BPD, on Tuesday, February 5 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., the car was stolen from the 2600 block of F Street in Central Bakersfield.

BPD is searching for a white, 1998 two-door Ford Explorer with rear tinted window, side steps, and a black roof rack. The Explorer has California license plate number 4EAN902.

The investigation is ongoing.
