The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify two suspects who stole merchandise from LensCrafters in south Bakersfield.
Police said on July 31st, just before 5 p.m. two women entered the store. The first woman took four pairs of Oakley sunglasses and put them in her purse while the second woman stood next to her.
Employees confronted the pair and that's when the first woman pulled out a small black folding knife and refused to return the merchandise. The two women then left the store.
The employee didn't not follow the suspect out of fear that the woman would harm her.
BPD is asking anyone with information about the suspects to contact them at 327-7111.
