BPD asking for the public's help in finding attempted residential burglary suspect

BPD is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect they say attempted to enter a residence in East Bakersfield.

According to BPD, on October 11, the suspect attempted to enter a residence in the 2300 block of East Hills Drive. The attempt was caught on camera. 

The suspect is believed to be a black male adult, 20 to 30 years old, with short facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black and red jacket with tan pants and red shoes.
