BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is conducting a DUI/ Driver's License Checkpoint on Saturday.
The checkpoint will be held at an undisclosed location within the city limits on Saturday, April 13 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
BPD says officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment. Officers will also be checking drivers for proper licensing.
BPD says locations for DUI/ Driver's License Checkpoints are selected based on collision statistics and frequency of DUI arrests.
