BPD will be conducting a DUI/ Driver's License Checkpoint.
The checkpoint will be conducted on Tuesday, November 27 from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. at an undisclosed location within the Bakersfield city limits.
According to BPD, officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment as well as checking drivers for proper licensing. BPD also says that locations for DUI/ Driver's License Checkpoints are chosen with safety considerations for the officers and the public.
