BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department will be conducting a DUI/ Driver's License Checkpoint this weekend.

According to BPD, the checkpoint will be held on Saturday, March 23 at an undisclosed location within the city limits between 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday morning.

BPD says officers will be looking for signs of alcohol and/or drug impairment, as well as checking drivers for proper licensing.
