BPD: Crash causes fire hydrant to burst water onto roadways in Northeast Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A car crash in Northeast Bakersfield left a mess in roadways, Wednesday evening.

Bakersfield police were dispatched to the intersection of Panorama Drive and River Boulevard around 5 p.m. to investigate the two-vehicle crash.

Officials say one of the vehicles ended up hitting a fire hydrant causing water to shoot out.

BPD says there were no injuries.
