BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Eric Lavelle Nichols, the man suspected in a double homicide in Central Bakersfield has been arrested.
The victims have been identified as 47-year-old Paul Ray Shawn Dean and 37-year-old Jerome Patrick Davis.
Dean died at the scene and Davis was transported to Kern Medical where he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, Nichols was found in Wasco and taken into custody.
He faces two counts of murder.
