BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — An investigation is underway after a 13-year-old girl said her home care provider has been showing her pornography videos throughout this year, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
BPD said an employee from an unnamed school contacted the department on Nov. 15 to state that the girl, who they say has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old, was looking at pornography on a school computer.
Officers spoke with the girl, who said the home care provider had been using a tablet to show her the videos every Friday for the last year, officials said.
The worker is employed by an outside company and not the school, and reportedly had other juvenile clients. The home care provider has not been charged.
According to a warrant, police seized seized an iPhone and iPad belonging to the worker.
23ABC News is not identifying the home care provider because no charges have been filed.
