Four people have been transported to local hospitals following a crash on Oak Street near California Avenue on Monday.

According to Bakersfield Fire officials, a car was rear ended just before 11 a.m. on Oak Street.

Two people in the crash suffered major injuries. Two suffered minor injuries. 

One lane of northbound Oak is shut down.
