BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department is holding a "Drug Take-Back" event this Saturday to keep unused drugs off the streets or from landing in the wrong hands.
Anyone can come and leave medication with officers with no questions asked or without having to give up a name.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the police department on Truxtun Avenue.
Thousands of pounds has been collected at events in previous years.
UPDATE: PG&E is reporting that all power has been restored.
