UPDATE (8:08 a.m.): The Kern County Coroner's Office has identified the man who was killed Friday night in southwest Bakersfield as Hardeep Singh. 

Singh, 32, was shot and killed on Nov. 24 around 11:30 p.m. at the Cambridge Village Apartments on the 8200 block of North Laurelglen Boulevard.

The Coroner's Office said a postmortem examination will determine and a cause and manner of death.

Bakersfield police are investigating a deadly shooting in Southwest Bakersfield. 

It happened just before 11:30 p.m. at the Cambridge Village Apartments, on North Laurelglen, near Gosford Road. 

BPD says they found a man on the ground outside the apartment complex suffering from at least one gunshot wound. 

He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

There is no suspect information at this time.
