BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a stabbing that turned deadly in Central Bakersfield.

A coroner's report said the stabbing happened at the 100 block of T street on December 20 just after 10 p.m. A victim was stabbed and taken to Kern Medical where he died three days later on December 23 at 12:23 p.m.

The victim has been identified as 57-year-old Willie Earl Davis of Bakersfield.
