BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a possible road rage shooting in Southwest Bakersfield Sunday afternoon.
According to BPD, a motorist in one vehicle shot at a motorist in another vehicle near Panama Lane and Wible Road at about 3:08 p.m.
The victim was shot multiple times and sustained moderate to major injuries and was transported to Kern Medical where is expected to survive, BPD confirmed.
BPD describe the suspect in a press release as a "light skinned male in his 20’s, shaved head, occupying a green or dark colored vehicle."
Authorities have reopened roads in the area.
