At least one person has been shot in Central Bakersfield on Friday morning.

The Bakersfield Police Department responded to the area of Chester Place near 4th and P streets just after 7:30 a.m. Friday.

Police say the victim suffered minor injuries.

It's not known if any arrests have been made.
