BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield police has confirmed with 23ABC that they are investigating a stabbing near the Maya Cinemas in Central Bakersfield.

Officials say cops were flagged down by the victim on Thursday around 7:30 p.m. near California Avenue and P Street.

The victim reportedly said they were stabbed at a different location and is receiving medical aid.

BPD has not released any suspect information.
