BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department were dispatched to Polo Community Park on Noriega Road for a possible deceased subject on Saturday, January 5.

According to police, at around 6:30 a.m., officers located an unresponsive male in the park. Medical personnel were present and pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing and the name of the deceased is being withheld pending release from the coroner.
