BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A DUI and Drivers License checkpoint was held Tuesday night in East Bakersfield, resulting in three arrests and more than a dozen citations.
The checkpoint was held from 6 p.m. until midnight on East Truxtun Avenue.
BPD says out of 645 vehicles that were screened, seven were detained for sobriety tests and two were arrested for driving under the influence.
Officials also report that 20 people were given citations for driving without a license and 14 other were found to be driving on a suspended license.
One other person was also arrested on a felony warrant.
