BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police Department, today, made the announcement they'd be canceling their Junior Police Academy, citing difficulty maintaining a safe social distance.
They will begin to plan for next summer.
With social distancing in mind, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's #JuniorPoliceAcademy (JPA). We are very sorry to the kids in our community. We will begin planning later this year for next summer & will make it our best year yet!!! #JPA #SummerPrograms
