The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance identifying and locating a suspect wanted for assault.

On April 21, 2017 at 1:13 p.m., the suspect was traveling aboard a GET bus in the 700 block of South Chester Avenue, when she physically assaulted a passenger for unknown reasons.

The bus driver intervened, and was also physically assaulted. Both the passenger and driver sustained minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a black female, 40-45 years of age, 5’4”, 150 pounds, with short black hair, according to BPD.
