Bakersfield police are on the hunt for a man involved in a possible drive by shooting late Monday night.
The shooting happened on MLK and East California Avenue just after 10:30 pm.
Upon arrival officers located an adult male suffering from a single gunshot wound which was later determined to be non-life threatening.
He was taken to Kern Medical for his injuries.
Police are looking for a suspect described as a Hispanic adult male driving a small, burgundy, sports utility hatchback with a spare tire -- seen leaving the area.
The BPD gang unit is currently investigating this shooting and encourages anyone with any information to call police.
