The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for assistance identifying and locating a suspect wanted for armed robbery.

According to police, on Friday, October 19, the suspect entered Chester Liquor on South Chester Avenue, where he brandished a possible firearm at the clerk. He then stole several items and fled in a tan or brown older 90s model, 4-door sedan.

He is described as a white man in his 40s at 5 feet 7 inches with a slim build. The suspect had brown hair and was wearing a green long sleeve shirt with tan cargo shorts and a gray backpack.
