BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is searching for two people responsible for stealing gas out of several cars in the area of 3700 Columbus Street.
According to police, the alleged crimes happened on November 7 when the two suspects, dressed in all black, were spotted draining the gas tanks of multiple cars. Police said the suspects also caused damage to the cars.
The suspects car is described as a:
Early 2000’s black Chevrolet or GMC extra cab pickup, stock in appearance with white tank secured in the bed of the truck
