BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — 25-year-old Kyle Skaggs was arrested in Oildale on Sunday for several felony firearms related charges, according to Bakersfield Police.
BPD responded to the area of 800 Washington Avenue just before 4 p.m. in an attempt to locate Skaggs, who was wanted for four outstanding felony arrest warrants.
He was contacted in the backyard of a residence and during a search was found to have a loaded .38 caliber revolver concealed in his pants as well as several bags of suspected meth.
Following a search of a vehicle he was observed accessing. officers found an additional loaded firearm.
Bakersfield Police arrested Skaggs for multiple felony firearm related charges, possession of a controlled substance while armed and his outstanding arrest warrants.
