On February 6th, 2016, Officers from the Bakersfield Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Niles Street for a report of a shooting.
When Officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The investigation revealed as the victim was walking in the 1300 block of Niles Street, unknown suspects approached him in a dark colored sports utility vehicle and shot the victim.
The victim was taken to Kern Medical Center with moderate injuries.
No further suspect information was located.
