BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A man lies in critical condition, according to the Bakersfield Police Department, following a shooting in Southeast Bakersfield.
Police say they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound on Melwood Street, Tuesday at 4:38 p.m.
According to officers, the victim was taken to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Further investigation led police to obtain an arrest warrant for 33-year-old Adanid Rebollar for attempted murder.
BPD describes Rebollar as:
Hispanic male, 5'6", 160 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey-hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
