On Monday. September 24, officers responded to an apartment near 500 Real Road regarding an assault with a deadly weapon.
According to police, the reporting party indicated that the brother had stabbed her boyfriend and was armed with a knife.
The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries.
Police said that the suspect was taken into custody and booked for attempted murder.
