The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s assistance locating a suspect wanted for felony battery and an active felony warrant.

On Thursday, January 28, 2016 at about 11:25 p.m., a suspect, identified as Mohamed Amen Ali (35), struck an adult female victim in the face, breaking her nose.

Ali fled the area prior to police arriving.

Ali has an active felony warrant and is known to frequent local area hotels. He is described as a Yemenis male, 35, 5’6”, 210 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, goatee, wearing a black shirt and dark jeans.

He was last seen in the 800 block of Wible Rd.
