BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department conducted another operation overnight to disrupt street racing. Over the course of the weekend, BPD made 24 stops, impounded 3 cars and issued 18 citations in total.
BPD held the second operation from 8 p.m. Saturday night until 2 a.m. Sunday.
The results from Saturday night's operation show BPD made 10 traffic stops, issued seven citations and impounded two vehicles.
BPD will be conducting more in the coming weeks.
