Bakersfield Police spokesman Brian Holcombe said Sherlene Byerly has been found around 8 a.m. on Friday near her home. She is now back home and safe.

Bakersfield Police needs your help finding a women they said is an at-risk-adult. Officers said 73-year-old Sherlene Byerly was last seen Thursday July 26th, around 12:30 p.m. on 34th Street near San Dimas Street.

Officers describe Byerly as 5'1" 165 pounds and uses a blue walker. If you have any information about Byerly's whereabouts you're encouraged to call BPD at 661-327-7111
