The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help after a 12-year-old boy went missing in Southwest Bakersfield early Sunday morning.
Officials say Byron Kemp was last seen near Harris and Akers roads.
Kemp is described as a black male, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes, according to BPD.
He was last seen wearing a white tank top with black basketball shorts.
