The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a shooting in South Bakersfield. 

It happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Terrace Way, near South P Street. 

When officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

Bakersfield police have no suspect information.
