Two people are dead following a shooting in north Bakersfield early Tuesday morning. 

Bakersfield Police say a man and a woman were found just after midnight in the area of O and 40th streets. The man was found in a car and the woman was found in nearby grass.

Witnesses tell 23ABC that they heard as many as 20 shots around the time of the shooting. 

No arrests have been made.
