A man is under arrest after stealing a Vivint Solar van Sunday morning. 

Shortly before 11 a.m. Vivint Solar employees called Bakersfield Police after witnessing a man steal a van from their office located on Union Avenue. 

Thanks to a GPS tracker inside the van, officers were quickly able to locate the suspect driving the stolen vehicle near Morning Drive and Niles Street. 

BPD began following the suspect. The suspect pulled over near in a field near Weedpatch Highway and Sunset Boulevard and was taken into custody without incident.
