BPD releases new video of the car that hit Robert Forbes

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police Department has released a new video submitted to them of the car that hit Robert Forbes.

The video shows the car going through the intersection, but an angle of the site of the crash can't be seen. BPD says, "The speed limit is 45mph in the 3100 block of California Avenue. Based on estimates from our MCIT, the driver was traveling at a speed of 45mph."

Witnesses at the scene believe the car was intentionally trying to hit protesters. BPD asks that anyone with more information contacts them at (661) 327-7111.
