The Bakersfield Police Department says a reported sexual assault near Bakersfield College did not happen.

According to BPD, a juvenile student at B.C. reported a sexual assault to the school's public safety department. The juvenile reported he was forced into a vehicle by a man then was sexually assaulted in an area west of the campus. 

Bakersfield Police detectives followed up on the case and determined the incident did not happen. 

Bakersfield Police say there are no charges pending against the person who alleged the assault.
