BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield police are currently responding to an alleged threat made against UEI College.

According to officials, the college received an email on Monday at an unknown time.

Students were reportedly evacuated from the building once school officials were made aware of the threat.

The student which is said to be a 45-year-old man, who allegedly made the threat was contacted by BPD upon arriving at the college.

Everyone involved has been contacted and interviewed and police are still working the scene. No arrests have been made.

Students have been able to re-enter the college since the incident.
