The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's help in finding a suspect wanted for attempted robbery and assault.

On March 18, the suspect entered Winco at 4200 Coffee Road, removed a reusable bag and began picking out various items. According to BPD, the suspect put items in the bag as well as her backpack and then attempted to flee the business.

When she was confronted by store personnel, she fought with and pepper-sprayed the employees. She fled the business and is described as a black female adult, 22-29 years old with light complexion, roughly 5'05" and 130-140 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
