BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man they say is responsible for the sexual assault of a juvenile.

BPD is searching for Jeffery Brent Firkins. He is described as a 38-year-old white man, 5 ft. 8 inches tall, 150 pounds, with medium-length black hair and hazel eyes.
