BPD searching for person who removed parking garage gate arm twice

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a person they say removed a gate arm from a Central Bakersfield parking garage twice.

According to BPD, the first incident occurred on March 31, 2019. BPD says the suspect entered the parking structure, located at 1600 18th Street in Central Bakersfield, and forcibly removed the Eye Street entrance parking lot gate arm, causing damage. The same suspect removed the gate arm again on April 14.
