BPD searching for possible robbery suspect

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - BPD is asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say robbed a Kohl's.

The robbery happened on August 28 at the Kohl's located on Gosford Road in Southwest Bakersfield. According to BPD, a man walked into the store and collected items. He then walked out of the store without paying for those items. BPD says when store employees confronted him, he brandished a knife and fled from the scene in an older model white vehicle.

The suspect is believed to be a Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years old, 5 ft. 7 inches tall, and weighing 180 pounds.
