BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for assistance locating a robbery suspect from August 26.

According to police, a victim was seated in a vehicle in the parking lot of Chase Bank on White Lane when the suspect approached the vehicle and forcefully removed money from the victim.

The suspect is described as a black man between 20 to 25 years old. He is 6 feet tall with a slim build and short black hair. He was wearing a white and black t-shirt and red shorts.

The suspect fled in a royal blue, possible late 2000's model Dodge Avenger 4-door.
