UPDATE (Dec. 4, 10:57 a.m.): The Bakersfield Police Department said Sims was located on December 2nd and was unharmed.

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the communities help in locating a 14-year-old runaway juvenile.

The 14-year-old is identified as Demond Leonard Sims Jr., he was last seen near the 4100 block of Parkwood Avenue on November 28. 

Demond is described as a black male, 14-years-old, 110 pounds, 5'0, brown eyes, black hair, and last seen riding a blue and green bike.
