BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Police said they are searching for a suspect wanted for an armed robbery at Strata Credit Union on Truxtun Avenue.
According to Bakersfield Police, the robbery happened on August 18 around 12:30 p.m. outside of the business. Officials said the suspect brandished a knife at the victim while he was approaching the ATM then demanded money.
BPD described the suspect as a Hispanic man around 5'8", thin build, dirty in appearance, with short facial hair. He was last seen wearing a grey baseball style hat, white tank top, and dark shorts.
Police said the suspect was spotted riding a red bicycle with high rise handle bars, and grocery bags on either side.
